The Old Rectory
This project involved the refurbishment and extension of a beautiful listed building in Northamptonshire.
The old part of the building was to be totally gutted and redesigned and a new contemporary styled extension added. This extension incorporated a large kitchen/family area, a fitness studio, and media room.
We worked closely with the architect, interior designer and client who had specified products from both our Arbor and Classic ranges.
The Arbor range was to be used in both the old and contemporary areas, illustrating the flexible nature of this unique range.
The Classic range products were supplied in an antique brass finish, which matched the antique brass finish used on some of the Arbor items. These Classic range items were used in the old, listed part of the residence.
This is the Study
The cupboard knobs are product code 41292 from our Arbor range. They were made in rosewood with antique brass finished components.
The rosewood was finished in a matt finish, as the designer wanted a “used” effect.
In the listed part of the building, items from both our Arbor and Classic ranges had been selected.
The family room is situated in the listed part of the building.
The mortice knob is from the Classic range and has the product code 34108. It is finished in our antique brass finish.

In the extension, our Arbor products were specified.
This is our 34302 mortice knob with 37016 escutcheon.
The Arbor items were supplied in sanded beech with satin nickel plated components.
The boot room door also had the Arbor 34302 mortice knob in sanded beech with satin nickel plated components.
The fitness studio is on the first floor in the new extension.
The fitness studio door was also fitted with the Arbor mortice knob, 34302, in sanded beech with satin nickel plated components.

The entrance hall door was fitted with our Classic mortice knob 34108 along with escutcheon 37004. The finish is our antique brass finish.
The master bathroom door was fitted with our Classic range mortice knob 34108 with its matching turn/release set, product code 34506. The finish was our antique brass finish.
The guest bedroom door was fitted with our 34108 mortice knob in our antique brass finish.
Here is another example of our Arbor and Classic range items being used together. The escutcheon is product code 37004 finished in our antique brass finish to match the Arbor mortice knob.
Our 34308 Arbor mortice knob was used through most of the listed part of the building. We made it in rosewood with antique brass finished components.
